On Friday, August 31, 2018, the Bush Band, Illusions, Cheerleaders and the NJROTC preformed at the first pep rally of the school year in the school commons. These four organizations performed in order to spread the school spirit for the football game taking place later that day.

The Illusions were one of the outstanding groups that preformed that day. Even though the group has performed many times in front of the school it can still be nerve wracking.

“We always get nervous when we preform for the school, but I think they will do great,” said Mrs. Sosa, one of the Illusions coaches.

All of the groups that performed did an amazing job with their routines and the way that the groups executed their performances.

“The Illusions were my favorite part of the pep rally, because they caught my attention and they were uniform and together,” said junior, Khairat Alabi.

The amazing Bush Band also performed that day, and for some of them performing in front of the school is not something new.

“Performing in front of the school feels calming because I’ve done it so many times. It gives me an incentive feeling making people happy with my music,” said junior, Tianna Castillo.
