On Wednesday, October 3rd Bush JV football team played the Kempner Cougars at home. The Broncos came out ready to play some ball and put on a show, defeating the Cougars 27-12.

Running Back, Jacory Cormier played quarterback for the Broncos and scored 3 times, rushing for 160 yards. He couldn’t be stopped.

“After getting off injury and going into my second game of the season, I had something to prove and I played with a huge chip on my shoulder. I did what I knew I would do; I can’t be stopped,” Cormier said.

The Broncos defense played lights out and had their best game yet.

Newcomer cornerback Nicco Whitsey had a shutdown game locking up their receivers. He led the defense with 2 interceptions against the Cougars.

“I’m proud of myself and the team. I’m new here and it already feels like home. I just want to keep winning,” Whitsey said.

The Broncos will move on next Thursday to play the Ridge Point Panthers at Ridge Point.
