On Wednesday November 28th, 2018, George Bush High School Journalism students were inducted into Quill & Scroll, a national journalism honor society. Students inducted were required to be an active contributor of Bush High School Broadcasting, Yearbook, or Newspaper or any other authorized publications; have a higher overall GPA; and be approved by the journalism teachers and by the Quill & Scroll executive director.

The students gathered together to be inducted in front of their teachers, loved ones, and fellow peers. This is the first  induction at George Bush High School, and it will certainly be one for the books.

“The Quill & Scroll induction ceremony was very lovely and professional. Getting the award was an honor I will hold, and I am looking forward to what is to come,” junior, Tianna Castillo said.
