It’s the time of the year that most people look forward to. We would like everyone to get a chance to be able to enjoy the holiday season with their families, therefore George Bush High School created “Holiday Sleigh.” George Bush High School has been putting on the annual Holiday Sleigh for 14 years. Clubs and Organizations adopt a family in need and provide them with gifts they would like for Christmas. This year we have 14 clubs participating and 20 families being adopted.

Coach Rob reflected on the importance of taking part in Holiday Sleigh.

“We get referrals from the social workers on what families we will be able to adopt this year. What we provide for these families is a Christmas they wouldn’t otherwise have. It also teaches the students participating that giving doesn’t take a lot.” Coach Rob said.

The families picked up their gifts on Wednesday, December 12, 2018. Thanks to all who took part in giving back to them!
