On December 15,2018, the NJROTC traveled to Nimitz High School to compete in drill, academics, physical training or PT, and color guard wining in many of those categories.

Junior Platoon Commander, Khairat Alabi competed in academics, relay run, drill and color guard.

“I think we did pretty well with the resources that we had,” Alabi said.

Junior social officer Michelle Cardenas, competed in many of the sit-ups, push-ups and the relay run.

” I did 209 sit-ups to a cadence, 43 push-ups, and the time for the run was 1:52,” Cardenas said.

The NJROTC will compete again on January 19, 2019, so don’t forget to show your support.
