On Tuesday, February 26, the boys basketball team played against Sam Houston at Cy Falls High School at 7 p.m.

The Broncos fought hard to get there and they weren’t going out easy.

Sam Houston played physical and tough against the boys, but the Broncos were more strategic and used their key players to an advantage.

The team was led by Junior point guard Dj Stewart, who had 18 points, and Junior foward Danny McAdory, who had 14 points with a couple of acrobatic dunks. Junior shooting guard Braelon Joe played intense defense forcing turnovers on Sam Houston.

“We work hard at practice, giving it our all everyday, studying breaking down our opponents, so we’re able to come out and bring the win back home. We just want to go all the way and prove the doubters wrong,” Dj Stewart said.

The Broncos sent Sam Houston home with a final score of 44 to Sam’s 35.

The Broncos advance to the regional finals against George Ranch Friday, March 1st at the Berry Center at 8 p.m.

This is the Battle of Richmond Texas, be there to watch our boys put on a show!
