“Debate, We’ve got issues”

On Friday March 22, 2019 your George Bush High School had a Crawfish Boil from 2-6 pm for students. Teachers received their serving through out the day at their chosen time. The plate included 2 pounds of crawfish, corn, sausage, and potatoes for fifteen dollars.

“I really enjoyed it with my family and it was one of the best crawfish ever!” Mr. Oresanya said.

For two weeks the team sold tickets, and in total made over 200 pounds of crawfish.

“It was hard work, but in the end it was worth it,” sophomore, Angeles Molina said.

The team held this fundraiser to fund the 2019-2020 school year, and to build up the debate program at the school. The team hopes to continue the crawfish boil annually.

“This is only the beginning of a tradition,” senior and co captain, Saint-Anthony Bakre said.
