The Rodeo Art Show is an art gallery competition that is held before the Houston Livestock Show.  Students submit their artwork to be judged by hand-picked jurors.  The artwork that is selected as “winners” get the chance to have their work presented and potentially auctioned off at the Houston Livestock Show/Houston Rodeo.

There were 2 students out of Bush High School that got the honor of winning awards at this show, Hannhi Le and Catherine Roswell.  Catherine won the Special Merit Award and is a finalist for the rodeo display.  Her artwork will be displayed during the rodeo and hopefully auctioned off so that she can get a much larger reward.  This is only the third time in school history that a Bush student has moved on to the Grand Prix.
